iAM Global Education®’s Secure Sockets Layer (SLL) and Secure Payment Methods

iAM Global Education® has a SSL Certificate, a standard security protocol for establishing encrypted links between a web server and a browser for online communication. The SSL is installed on our web server. The SSL activates a padlock and the https protocol that allows secure connections from a web server to a browser. This is important because the information we send on the Internet is passed from computer to computer to get to the destination server. Any computer in between you and the server can see your credit card numbers, usernames and passwords, and other sensitive information if it is not encrypted with an SSL certificate.

Authorize.net, iAM Global Education®’s payment gateway you will use, is a secured payment system as well as one of the most popular payment gateways across the globe. Authorize.net provides several protected functions to secure the transaction between your credit card payment and iAM Global Education®.

  • Web Browser Security: First, the web browser encrypts the data to be sent between your credit card and iAM Global Education®’s web server. Authorize.net then sends the transaction data to the payment processor utilized by the iAM Global Education®'s bank.

  • Authorization Request: The payment processor sends the transaction data to a card association. The credit card's issuing bank views the authorization request and “approves” or “denies.”

  • Filling the Order: The processor then forwards an authorization pertaining to iAM Global Education® and your credit card company to the payment gateway. Once the gateway obtains this response, it transmits it to the website/interface to process the payment. An appropriate response is then generated to you. This secure process only takes only a few seconds at most. At this point, an iAM Global Education® customer service team member will enroll you in the appropriate course that meets your educational needs.
